I’m just a Vampire Rights Bill…
One of our talented audience members calling himself “Johnny” sent us this hilarious pro vampire rights amendment cartoon. Johnny seems quite anxious to work with the American Vampire League and has put his design talents to work to create this little ditty.
Thanks for sending this Johnny but be careful out there! I don’t think the Fellowship of the Sun will find this amusing or appropriate for kids. Not to mention how mad they are gonna be when they get that catchy tune stuck in their heads.

That cracked me up!!! That song is going to be stuck in my head all day now!!! I think they messed up when they mentioned reproduction rights and the “right to make little vampires”, though. As far as I know, vampires can’t have children.

Maybe not now, but it’s amazing some of our advancements. One day it might just take a bit of DNA, so they won’t even need their dead sperm or egg cells. It might require a donor, though from what I see it, you can remove the donor’s DNA and have a surrogate if the mother is a vampire. It’s no different from cloning two people together (half their DNA from each obviously), but of course, we’d have to see what the results are from possessing (a) technically dead parent(s).
In addition to that, there is a lot of what ifs. Would a vampire’s DNA be “dead” or useless because of his/her state? How much of their DNA changes after being turned? Just a thought, not a reality of course to their potential reproducing.
Anyway, it was cute - and catchy.
